As Atletico Madrid prepare to face Rayo Vallecano on Saturday, Diego Simeone has been testing out his starting line-up in training.
The Rojiblancos boss has looked to resolve the doubts in midfield, with Thomas Partey suspended and Koke injured, by deploying Vitolo in a more central area, along with Rodrigo, Saul Niguez and Angel Correa, who was predominantly on the right.
Despite Diego Costa now approaching full fitness again, Alvaro Morata is set to once again partner Antoine Griezmann in attack.
The Brazil-born striker will have wait to wait on the bench for his chance to earn a place back in the eleven, which is a similar situation to Thomas Lemar.
In defence, Filipe Luis will take his place at left-back due to Lucas Hernandez’s injury.
Jose Gimenez and Diego Godin will be deployed at centre-back, while Santiago Arias is set to beat out competition from Juanfran for the final spot.
Jan Oblak, of course, will be in goal.
