Arsenal’s top four hopes took a real blow on Saturday as the Gunners fell to defeat against West Ham .
Unai Emery’s side were beaten 1-0 at the London Stadium, meaning it is now two months since they last registered a league win away from the Emirates.
Yet they have no more money to splash this month, with Emery having to scour the loan market if he wants to add to his number.
But they continue to be linked with a number of players.
Here are some of the latest…
Looking at Ligue 1 ace
According to reports in France, the Gunners have let Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr know that they are extremely interested in a summer move.
Sarr has impressed for his club this term, scoring eight goals in 24 games, and Le10 Sport claim Arsenal will be keeping tabs on his progress between now and May, with scouts watching him closely.
January fee for Ramsey made clear to Juventus
Arsenal have told Juventus that it will cost them £18million to sign Aaron Ramsey this month.
The Gunners are refusing to allow Ramsey to leave on the cheap during the transfer window, even though the Wales star has already agreed to join perennial Serie A champions Juve when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery has said there is no money for permanent buys this month only loans, but believes it will leave his squad stretched if he allows the 28-year-old to move to Italy without a replacement midfielder being brought in.
Arsenal have made Carrasco contact
The wife of Yannick Carrasco, the Belgium international, says Arsenal are interested in taking him to the Emirates this month.
According to the player’s wife, Noemie Happart, Arsenal and Manchester United are both keen on bringing in the 25-year-old this month.
“There are a lot of things going on, he has been called by a lot of clubs,” she told RTBF on Saturday.
“A lot of clubs are interested, nothing concrete, nothing has been signed yet.”
Keeper on his way?
Leeds want to sign Emiliano Martinez, reports the Daily Mail.
The Yorkshire club are also keen on Kiko Casilla of Real Madrid however.
Martinez is third choice at the Emirates, behind Bernd Leno and Petr Cech right now.
