    Tottenham tuned up for their crunch Champions League clash against Barcelona with a clinical 2-0 Premier League victory over Leicester City.

    Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen were able to rest up on the bench and enjoy a stunning Son Heung-min opener on the stroke of half-time.

    Dele Alli headed in his 50th goal for Spurs in all competitions to make the points safe, moving Mauricio Pochettino’s side back up to third in the table following Chelsea’s 2-0 win over champions Manchester City earlier on Saturday.

    Tottenham double their advantage this evening as Alli converts at the back post. Lucas released Son into acres of space down the left flank. He was afforded all the time in the world to lift a cross to the back post. Alli made no mistake with his diving header, powering his effort past Schmeichel. He may have been a fraction offside, but the linesman did not raise his flag. Spurs have control of the contest.

    87′ SAVE! Ghezzal latches on to Gray’s cross into the box and he turns away from Winks, cutting back to shoot on his right foot. However, he fires his effort straight at Lloris, who makes the save.
